I Am Alpha
I Am Alpha is a site for developers and other curious folks to play around with the underlying technology behind a whole new crop of cool AIM products. We’re not done with it, but we want people to get excited about it, and more importantly, get excited about creating modules!
YouOS
(Still wayyyy alpha.)
YouOS is a web operating system that lets you run diverse applications within a web browser. Small applications like sticky notes or clocks. Large applications like word processing, mp3 players, and instant messaging. Even better, it’s very easy to tweak an existing application or write your own.
Cloudee
Your daily dose of conversations.
Cloudee is an automatic aggregator. Think of it like an intelligent RSS reader that culls the daily headlines for hot topics. The hot conversations of the day are tracked using a cloud algorithm based on memes and links.
Reliwa
Reliwa (german)
Reliwa ist eine neue Plattform für Ihre Bücher- und Musiksammlung. Das Ziel von Reliwa ist, die Vernetzung aller Bücherleser und Musikhörer zu ermöglichen und deren Kommunikation zu erleichtern.
(create lists and reviews of your media collection)
Mail2RSS
(Extreme ALPHA Release!)
Mail2RSS.org is made to enable reading emails with any RSS feedreader!
If you ever wanted to read all your newsletters and mailing lists as RSS feeds, just forward those emails to any address at Mail2RSS.org.
ZoneTag
(ZoneTag is an alpha research prototype release from Yahoo! Research Berkeley, not a ‘certified’ Yahoo! product.)
Get your photos uploaded to Flickr in merely two clicks. No more searching for your photo to MMS to your friends or copying them to your computer first.
ZoneTag can automatically tag your photos with the location they were taken at.
ThnLnk
(Alpha v0.11.)
ThnLnk wants to put meaning to URLs. ThnLnk is a semantic URL redirecting service.
Thumbstacks
(Please note! You’ve heard of Beta software – Thumbstacks.com is Alpha software (that’s one before beta). That means we’re still working on it, still making changes, and still testing. Some things may not work as expected, and other things may change suddenly (even while you’re using them).)
With Thumbstacks.com, you can make presentations – like slideshows, or outlines – right in your web browser. When you’re done, you can share your presentations with anyone, anywhere, just by sending them a link.
