Your journey to enlightenment on both sides begins with your confession. Every Confession is judged on a scale moving from total forgiveness to ultimate condemnation. Your reputation will vary from Angel to Devil according to the rank of your confessions, the higher the score the closer to Angel status you get and vise versa.
